OVERVIEW
Contactless High Voltage Slip Rings Without Brush Wear and Arcing
- Available with up to 14 channels and up to 3,500V (standard) and 10kV+ (custom)
- ROTOCON technology provides a sealed, arc-free rotating electrical contact without wear parts
- Combine high voltage and low voltage signal within the same assembly
ROTOCON high voltage slip rings are available with up to 14 electrical channels and standard voltage configurations of 1500V, 2500V, and 3,500V. Meridian Laboratory also offers custom, high voltage slip rings for voltage potentials up to 10kV. All ROTOCON high voltage slip rings are designed to handle low voltage signals in addition to high voltage lines, with strong insulation resistance between channels.
ROTOCON high voltage slip rings are commonly used on wireline logging and measurement, ultrasonic welding and etching, x-rays, cable reels for pipe inspection, and other applications where the need for a reliable rotating electrical connector is integral to the machine’s function.
All ROTOCON high voltage slip rings are inherently arc-free by design, while providing low and stable electrical resistance. They are environmentally sealed and use robust materials making them the ideal choice for manufacturing and production applications, providing long-lasting performance without the downtime and routine maintenance associated with conventional, metal-on-metal slip rings.
For wireline specific applications, please see our Wireline Series of ROTOCON slip rings. Additionally, for applications which are less than 600 volts, please see our Multi-Channel MX-Series Slip Rings for more information.
