Polyurethane covered yoke rollers, also known as yoke-style cam followers, are designed to guide, support, and absorb shock in motion systems while protecting the surfaces they contact. They are commonly used in automation, material handling, packaging, and converting equipment where smooth tracking and load distribution are critical. Yoke rollers are mounted through the center bore using shoulder bolts or shafts.
ML6 polyurethane covered yoke rollers are used in a wide range of heavy-duty industrial applications where durability and high-load capacity are required. They are available in various durometers, profiles, and sizes to suit different track geometries, materials, and environmental demands.
Standard ML6 polyurethane yoke rollers are built using black-oxide coated yoke bearings and can also be supplied in stainless steel as required. Both SAE and Metric sizes are supported, with numerous thickness and profile options available.
Custom ML6 polyurethane covered yoke rollers are offered affordably and with short lead times. Whether your application requires a unique polyurethane thickness, a custom-molded profile, or specific performance characteristics, Meridian Laboratory delivers high-quality solutions at scale from single units to large production volumes. FAQs
Common Polyurethane Covered Yoke Roller Questions
Do you offer cam followers and yoke roller types other than the standard ones listed? (Stainless steel, Metric, crowned, eccentric, one-way, etc)
Yes, we can provide and overmold a variety of cam follower types beyond the standard offerings. Contact us and let us know your specs and we’ll source or work with your supplied parts.
What’s the maximum weight or force polyurethane can support?
Depending on its durometer and formulation, ML6® polyurethane can support compressive forces up to 10,000 psi and withstand dynamic loading over millions of cycles without degrading. Contact us to learn more.
Do you have existing tooling that can be utilized for my parts?
Yes, we maintain an extensive library of existing molds and tooling. If your part closely matches an existing size or geometry, we may be able to use or adapt our current tooling to reduce both cost and lead time. Contact us to learn more!
How strong is the bond between the core material and polyurethane?
ML6® polyurethane is chemically bonded to core materials using a proprietary process that provides a bond stronger than the polyurethane itself. Unlike some competitors who use press-fit or glued-on coatings, our processing method ensures maximum durability and prevents delamination, even under high loads or extreme dynamic conditions. Contact us to learn more!
What makes ML6® polyurethane different from other polyurethanes and materials?
ML6® is unique in that it can hold very tight tolerances without grinding or post-cure finishing. This leaves a perfect surface finish that has a better coefficient of friction, and is impervious to contamination since the cell structure is not opened through grinding or machining. This results in a better performing and longer lasting part. More information regarding the advantages of ML6 can be found here.
Can you manufacture custom-molded polyurethane parts to spec?
Yes, we specialize in custom-molded polyurethane parts, from single prototypes to full production runs. Our flexible process allows us to deliver parts quickly and cost-effectively, even in single piece quantities. Once we have manufactured any part once, it can be made any number of times, in any quantity, with cost-effective and repeatable results.
