Yes, we can overmold onto virtually any bearing or component, even if it’s not listed in our catalog offering. This allows us to hit any price and performance requirements an application might have. Yes, ML6® bonds exceptionally well to metals and plastics when properly prepared. We use proprietary bonding processes and surface treatments to ensure a durable, long-lasting bond to materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, brass, and engineering plastics. Is an exterior surface prep like knurling required on cores for overmolding?

No external surface prep like knurling is required. Our proprietary bonding process chemically adheres ML6® to properly cleaned core surfaces, ensuring superior bond strength without the need for mechanical retention. What materials do you overmold?

Can you produce fully finished parts including the cores?

ML6® polyurethane is chemically bonded to core materials using a proprietary process that provides a bond stronger than the polyurethane itself.
